Best Shows To Kill Your Boredom

We all know that the past two years have been quite disastrous for us in terms of the pandemic. People have lost their loved ones, prices have skyrocketed, and businesses have shut down. In 2022, we all aim to take it one day at a time and unwind from the stress endured upon us in the previous year. Contrary to popular opinion, whilst following all SOPs, staying inside, and maintaining social distancing, we can still have a fabulous time.

All you need is a stable internet connection such as Spectrum Internet® with a good package deal, which makes streaming hassle-free and fast. Yes, that is about it. Grab your buttered popcorn, and memorize this list, because in 2022, great things are coming, and that too from the comfort of your couch!

Here are some titles to look forward to this year, and some sequels of binge-watch worthy award-winning shows:

American Horror Story (Season 10)

From dark art to history and gruesome killing with a supernatural twist, this show has it all. The cast is phenomenal and the crossovers between the season stories, are even more exceptional. This time, we will also be seeing the Home Alone star Macauley Culkin on screen with an aquatic horror theme. Sounds exciting? We bet it does! The tenth season is expected to arrive after fall.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine (Season 8)

Perhaps the most loved cop season of the decade, Brooklyn Nine-Nine is all set to grace our screens for the very last time with season 8. Fans were devastated when the show was canceled back in 2018, and now finally fans will get the closure they deserve.

Better Call Saul (Season 6)

This is one of those unique shows where the prequel is just as good as the original. Better Call Saul is the sequel to Breaking Bad, following the storyline of the lawyer. This season will be the longest yet, with the most promising and deep episodes as stated by Bob Odenkirk.

House of Dragon

Calling all Game of Thrones fans! This original HBO show will be broadcasted by the end of this August if production goes as planned. The show’s main focus will be to unravel events that occurred before the GOT story and will showcase the history of the Targaryen family. We are expecting it to be as good as GOT!

Malcolm and Marie

The story behind this secret film is just as interesting as the film and the actors. It was shot within two weeks during the coronavirus lockdown and features Zendaya and John David Washington. The story will be a black and white film and rumors have it, it will be a brilliant piece of art.

To All the Boys: Always and Forever

Expected to release after Valentine’s, this movie is the third and final part of ‘To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before’ – Lara Jean’s story, based on the best-selling NY young adult novel. It will feature love, heartbreak, and tough decisions. Like its previous parts, one will not be able to stop tears of happiness streaming down the face when watching this one!

Yes Day

We have all heard of this social media trend. It is when parents say nothing but ‘yes’ to their offspring for one whole day. Lots of videos have been made on it and just when we thought that the fad was over, the trailer of Yes Day features your favorite faces. A great twist on parenting and a family watch, this movie will be out in March.

Clickbait

Based on how technology these days gets the worst of the generation, Clickbait is an eight-episode season that will reveal the horrendous truth of what happens on social media platforms and how regular people fall victim to internet crimes. The entire season is wrapped in lies and the tale of a disturbing family.

Don’t Look Up

It has Leonardo Di Caprio and Jennifer Lawrence in it. Do we even need any other explanation? These two are the bearers of the news that our world is going to be destroyed by a comet and boy oh boy, are we thrilled to see how the events unwrap!

YOU (Season 3)

Based on a spine-chilling book, YOU has gained a fan following of millions. From a great script to even greater acting and superb cinematography, season 2 of the show left us hanging on a cliffhanger and we are the most excited for how things unwrap for Joe Goldberg and his twisted, uncanny mind – and of course, this time he’s married to a killer as well, so we’re in for double the drama!

Sinner

If you are someone who is looking to get his or her hands on a spooky thriller season, this is the perfect choice for you. It revolves around the stories of sinners who sin in different ways and you can find it hard to form an opinion about them. What makes them act the way they did? Who are they? Watch this season for some thrilling nights.
